Clinique Darne
Description: Clinique Darne
Strategically situated Fortis Clinique Darné, in Floréal is one of the leader and oldest, yet most modern medical centres in Mauritius, combining traditions of dedicated personal care and modern, hi-tech facilities. Founded in April 1953 by Dr François Darné, a highly respected surgeon, the clinic initially had a capacity of 12 rooms and one operating theatre.
It now offers the latest most advanced state-of-the art medical technology. The old clinic has been entirely pulled down and in its place, now stands an impressive,easily identifiable building on a site extending over 3 acres.
How to reach us:
Fortis Clinique Darné is situated on the main road linking Curepipe to Floreal, in the centre of the island, next to the Mandarin Hotel (former Darne Mansion). It has a distinctive front door entrance which cannot be missed.
The clinic is about half an hour's drive from any coastal resort in Mauritius.
