Description: Safari Adventures Mauritius brings to you the first "Lion Encounter" on the island. This exclusive activity is available all year at the Casela Nature & Leisure Park, Mauritius.
This is a unique opportunity available only to the people who are fortunate enough to decide to visit the park at least once in their lifetime. They may feel and study the primitive behaviour of the lions and cheetahs and share their "Pride" of being in their natural state.
All these thrilling sensations are brought to you by a more than experience team with over three generations in the area of lion handling, training and expertise. We have conducted thousands of walks and interactions over the years without a single incident. We are situated on the west coast of Mauritius within the Casela Nature and Leisure Park. Between Flic en Flac and Tamarin.
Open everyday except Christmas day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
Summer months 9.00am - 6.00pm (October to April)
Winter months 9.00am - 5.00 pm (May to September)
Sundays open for VIEWING only no walks or interactions
Walking times
8.00am, 9.00am, 10.30am, 2.00pm and 3.30pm
Booking in advance strongly advised by atleast 3 to 4 days.
Interaction is conducted 9.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm - no booking is required.However, Height restriction for Interaction and walking is 1.50m / 5 feet.
Prices in local currency
Viewing: Rs100.00p/p
Interaction: Rs500.00p/p
Walking: Rs2000.00 p/p
Children are the same price.
Casela Entrance fee Rs270.00 per adult and Rs150.00 per child 3-12 years.
